Liftoff.IO
Soup-to-nuts overhaul—strategy, brand, voice, UX, the works.

I wrote that, and the rest you see here.
The Liftoff.io website redesign entailed a soup-to-nuts overhaul that included the creation of brand-new tone voice guidance (crafted by yours truly) and sixty-four pages of mostly jargon-free copy and alt text for the hundreds of beautiful custom illustrations throughout the site.
The new site shows how Liftoff can help mobile apps grow, boost performance, and maximize their marketing efforts using advanced machine learning. It also showcases how Liftoff can help businesses attract top-notch users, increase revenue, and get the best results from their ads.

The tone of the copy is professional and approachable, striking a balance between technical expertise and a user-friendly approach designed to instill confidence and excitement in its services. The language aims to appeal to both technical and non-technical audiences, making complex solutions feel accessible and engaging.

Liftoff offers a wide range of products for a diverse clientele. To help them find what they're looking for, the experience design team and I put our content strategist hats on and came up with this sorting tool to get them where they need to go.

In retrospect, it’s kind of funny how much time we spent discussing whether we should lead with a first-person POV.

The primary challenge in writing fresh copy for this site was synthesizing complex, technical language into something a layperson could understand. Mission accomplished.
